About

Medicine Man Pharmacy was founded in 1985, by Hugh and Peggy Perkins.  They dedicated their lives serving the North Little Rock community.  Their tireless service and faithful dedication to pharmacy has touched many lives.  In many ways Hugh and Peggy were a pillar in the community they served.  They understood that not every patient is the same and that everyone has specific needs relating to their healthcare.  Medicine Man Pharmacy was founded upon customer service and satisfaction; that tradition continues today.

Services

Prescription Delivery and Curbside Service

We know it's not always convenient to come to the pharmacy, that is why we offer local delivery - Monday through Friday.

We also recognize that it's not always convenient to leave your car and come inside the pharmacy.  We offer curbside service and will be happy to bring your order right to your car door.  Just call us on your mobile phone or honk your horn.  We'll be right out!

Pharmacy Compounding

Pharmacy Compounding is the creation of a pharmaceutical product tailored to meet individual customer needs.

Most pharmacies only dispense commercially available, pre-made, manufactured drugs.  Sometimes patients are unable to take these medications because of an allergy to one of the ingredients, or the dosage form isn't appropriate for their specific needs.  Medicine Man Pharmacy makes it easy to stay healthy by creating a product that works for you.  Be sure you have Medicine Man Pharmacy listed as your preferred pharmacy with your doctor's office.

Got pets?  Animals need medicine too!  We also compound prescriptions for your pets!

Immunizations

When it comes to disease prevention, immunizations are key. Getting vaccinated protects you and those around you. Our main focus is to help you and your loved ones stay up-to-date on the recommended vaccines. We offer a variety of immunizations. Some of the vaccinations we offer are listed below:

  • Flu
  • Pneumococcal
  • Shingles
  • Tdap or TD

Health Screening

Want to get a health checkup without going to the doctor? We offer onsite health screenings that allow you to get more information on your health without having to make a trip to the doctor.

We offer a variety of screenings, including the following:

  • Blood pressure
  • Blood glucose (sugar)
  • A1C

Our highly qualified staff can provide these screenings to give you more information on your health, health goals, and ways to reach those goals. Speak to one of our staff members to learn more about our health screenings.

Pharmacy Consultation

We are always available to answer any question you may have regarding your prescription medication - whether in the store or over the phone.  So please don't ever hesitate to ask.

We also offer medication therapy management for customers who take several different medications.  We know it can be overwhelming, so we're always willing to sit down and speak with you about your medication therapy.  Our pharmacists constantly evaluate your drug therapy and look for potential drug interactions or inappropriate therapy that might be harmful to you.  

Med-Sync

Having trouble remembering to refill your prescription?  Ask our pharmacist about our “Med-Sync” program.  All of your prescription refills will be synchronized and filled around the same time every month.   This will save you from making multiple trips to the pharmacy each month and help you adhere to your medication therapy in order to get the most benefit from your medicine.  We even have text / e-mail alerts to let you know when your prescription is ready to pick up.
