About Our Pharmacy

Medicine Man Pharmacy was founded in 1985, by Hugh and Peggy Perkins.  They dedicated their lives serving the North Little Rock community.  Their tireless service and faithful dedication to pharmacy has touched many lives.  In many ways Hugh and Peggy were a pillar in the community they served.  They understood that not every patient is the same and that everyone has specific needs relating to their healthcare.  Medicine Man Pharmacy was founded upon customer service and satisfaction; that tradition continues today.

In March of 2016, Terry Perkins took over Medicine Man Pharmacy. Terry was no stranger to pharmacy. He grew up working in Medicine Man Pharmacy. By the time Terry was in the 3rd grade he was running the cash register at Medicine Man on the weekends. Terry has done every job there is in pharmacy, from sweeping the floors to making payroll. In 2007 Terry married Jennifer Palmquist. Jennifer grew up in North Little Rock, attended North Little Rock High School, and graduated from UALR.  Jennifer's pharmacy experience spans over 15 years as she has worked for Kroger pharmacy, Oak Grove Pharmacy, and now Medicine Man Pharmacy.

Customer service and satisfaction are our main goals at Medicine Man Pharmacy. We want our customers to be healthy, well, and happy!  We feel that it is a privilege to serve our patients and we're grateful for their patronage.  We want your pharmacy experience to be enjoyable.   We seek to build a lifelong relationship with our patients and are genuinely concerned for their health.  We are always open for suggestions on how to better serve you - the customer.

We accept most insurance plans including Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare.  Our cash prices are competitive.  If you can't afford your medication, we may be able to consult with your doctor to find a less expensive but equally effective medication.  We offer local delivery throughout the week, except on Saturday and Sunday.  We believe that vaccinations are important; we're happy to provide adult vaccinations including flu, shingle, pneumonia, tetanus, and pertussis vaccines.

Sometimes commercial pharmacy products don't meet the needs of an individual.  We are happy to meet these needs through pharmacy compounding.  We offer several different compounded prescriptions and dosage forms to meet your specific needs.

Please allow us to earn your business.  If you need to transfer your prescriptions from another pharmacy, just give us a call and we'll take care of the rest.  We are truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you and your family.
